Summary
Hello I'm René Westerveld, or Kitsumeo here.
I studied animation for eight years until life had other plans for me. I had a break for several years, in which I pursued some of my other interests, writing and learning Japanese.
In 2019 I got back into the game of creating art and illustrations.
I love the 2D look and feel and styles like; Avatar, Voltron, She-Ra and The Dragon Prince are very appealing to me. Being able to draw in 'The Legend of Korra' style is one of my dreams and I have made several steps into the right direction to achieving it, including learning from Steve Ahn in 2020!
Currently I'm doing commission work and focus on achieving one of my artistic goals, which is to gain mastery over the avatar style.
